Relationships -- 人間関係

What kinds of relationships are there?

For example,
  • friends,
  • co-workers,
  • classmates,
  • marriage partners,
  • brothers and sisters,
  • relatives,
and so on.

Friends do things together, things like going skiing or winter hiking. And they take pictures together. Huddle together. Hug each other. And look happy together.

Co-workers and classmates work together and study together. Sometimes they share a computer and a desk. Sometimes they read things together, or check each others' work.

But if you see two people working together at a computer, could one be the boss?

Or might one be a teacher and the other a student? How would you tell?

Married couples like to share quiet time together, doing things like sitting on the grass in the sun. Maybe leaning on each other, or just giving each other support.

And so do brothers and sisters.

Could you be sure that a man and a woman sitting together on the grass are married to each other?

Relatives get together for various reasons -- marriages, baby showers, birthday parties, and such.

When you see people of another culture talking together, and there are bright colors, maybe they are having a party. But maybe not.

Do you know all the words and grammar above?
